Operating costs are raised through private contributions, corporate donations and fundraising events.

SEND A DONATION IN HONOR OR IN MEMORY OF A LOVED ONE
The Ronald McDonald House sends acknowledgements both to the donor and individual for whom the tribute/memorial gift was made. The card specifies the occasion and names the donor but does not disclose the amount of the gift.
DONATE GARAGE SALE ITEMS
Used clothing, household goods, furniture, children’s items and others not listed.

SPONSOR A ROOM 
Donate items used in the bedroom, such as, twin bedspreads, linens, towels, clock radios and others items you may think of. This is a great project for replacement of constantly used items.
GUEST RELATIONS
Families who stay at the House live as far as 50 miles away or more, or from other states and countries. Tickets to movies, theaters, museums, Sea World, Fiesta Texas, or any other of the numerous happenings in San Antonio are great for the families.
MATCHING GIFTS PROGRAM
Check with your company to see if they offer a matching gifts program in which they will match dollar for dollar the donation of their employees or retirees.
COLLECT ALUMINUM CAN TABS
Collect aluminum can tabs Please help us to collect aluminum can tabs. The proceeds collected will help defray the everyday expenses associated with running the three homes as well as their improvements and renovations. Pop tabs may be dropped off at any of our locations. 
How does the program work?
Collect, Collect, Collect
Start saving your pop tabs (tabs on the top of the aluminum cans). Save them at home, at school, at work, at church…… wherever you want! Choose any container that is sturdy, use your imagination and be creative. Then drop off pop tabs at your nearest location.
Why not collect the whole can?
Pop taps are clean and compact. Pop tabs are of higher quality of pure aluminum than cans. Cans would require a lot of space and transporting them to recycling centers could be a major challenge.
What happens to the pop tabs that are collected and how does the Ronald McDonald House benefit from the collection of pop tabs?
They are taken to the recycling center and the money is used to support the everyday expenses associated with running three homes.
